Introduction
Flow Dapper protocol is a new blockchain for the next generation of applications, games and digital assets. It is a fast, secure and convenient protocol for blockchain developers. FlowDepper is designed to expand scalability, without the need to use sharding, and process transactions quickly and at low cost, which is very suitable for decentralized applications (Dapps) such as NFT markets and blockchain games.
Flow is built for collectible crypto and interactive apps and is rapidly growing and outperforming its competitors. NBA Top Shots has now shown its potential to generate money through collectibles and huge attention-grabbing elements. This is just one of the Flow-based projects.
Purpose
The purpose of creating this dashboard is to compare the transactions made in Flow blockchain with other blockchains in terms of speed and True and fail transactions.
In this dashboard, the Flow ecosystem is compared with 4 other blockchains, and based on the number of transactions of this network per minute, the performed events will be checked.
METHOD
The key table used in this dashboard is the fact_transactions
table, and by using it and dividing the number of transactions by the number of seconds, hours, and minutes of a day, we called the number of transactions per hour, minute, and second.
In the first part of this dashboard, Flow ecosystem is compared with 4 blockchains:
Ethereum
Avalanche
Cosmos
BSC
In this comparison, we will compare Flow blockchain with other networks in terms of transactions performed per hour, minute and second. It will be done at the beginning of 2022. In the second part of this dashboard, we will review the events performed on the Flow ecosystem since the beginning of 2022 using the fact events table
.
Part I - Transaction Stats
observations
- As we can see in the maximum transaction diagram above, the Flow network has performed better than 3 networks, Ethereum, Avalanche, and Cosmos.
- In terms of the average number of transactions, the Flow network is ahead of its two competitors, Avalanche and Cosmos.
- In terms of the minimum number of transactions, the Flow network is ahead of its two competitors, Avalanche and Kazmaz.
observations
Looking at the graphs above, we can conclude that since the beginning of 2022, the Flow network has had an upward trend compared to the other 4 blockchains in terms of transactions and transaction speed. This network is one of the fastest discussed blockchains with about 15 transactions per second.
TRUE & FALSE !
observations
- According to the graphs above, it can be said that in terms of making correct transactions, the Flow network has had a weaker performance than other networks, and as we can see in the correlation graph, one of the reasons can be the high number of transactions per minute. We can see that with the increase in the number of transactions per minute, Incorrect transactions have also almost increased. It is the same in 2 BSC and Avalanche networks, and in 2 Ethereum and Cosmos networks, the increase in the percentage of incorrect transactions has no effect on the number of transactions per minute.
- Based on the graph of the percentage of changes in the number of transactions per minute, we can see that the Flow network has grown significantly compared to the 3 Ethereum, Avalanche, and BSC networks.
part II - Flow Events
observations
The monthly chart of Flow ecosystem events shows the increase in the number of transactions, and as we can see, deposit and withdrawal transactions, as well as fee payment transactions, have the largest share of Flow network transactions.
conclusion
Based on the information of this dashboard, it can be said that the Flow network is one of the leading networks in terms of transaction processing at different times. As we have seen, the number of transactions performed in this network has gone through an upward trend since the beginning of 2022, and the only point to consider in this The network is the number of incorrect transactions and it can be said that the reason is the processing of high number of transactions and traffic of blocks on this network.
