    ✨Introduction
    🛠 Methodology

Flow, a decentralized and developer-friendly blockchain, has emerged as a prominent player in the rapidly expanding landscape of decentralized finance (DeFi). With its robust architecture and performance capabilities, Flow aims to support a wide array of software, content, and digital assets, catering to the needs of DeFi enthusiasts seeking to explore and understand its growing ecosystem.

At the heart of Flow's ecosystem lies its native currency, the FLOW token. This token serves multiple purposes, acting as the exclusive medium for staking, delegating, and covering transaction and storage fees. Furthermore, FLOW plays a vital role in facilitating the purchase, sale, and trading of assets and experiences within the Flow network.

DeFi, short for decentralized finance, strives to revolutionize traditional financial systems by eliminating the need for intermediaries in financial transactions. By leveraging blockchain technology and smart contracts, DeFi enables users to participate in a range of financial activities, including lending, borrowing, and trading, with increased transparency, security, and autonomy.

Dapper Labs, the driving force behind Flow, has designed the platform with a core principle of composability. This approach empowers developers to create cutting-edge, commercially viable applications, games, and other digital experiences on the next generation of platforms. Composability not only fosters innovation but also offers the potential to unite major brands on a highly scalable and future-proof blockchain. It is through this seamless integration and collaboration that Flow aims to accelerate the widespread adoption of blockchain technology across various industries.

In this context, the purpose of this dashboard is to provide an insightful analysis of Flow's largest liquidity pools, tracing their growth over time. Additionally, the dashboard will track the prices of Flow's fungible tokens, capturing essential data points such as tickers, volume on decentralized exchanges (DEX) and centralized exchanges (CEX), liquidity on DEX, prices, market capitalization, and fully diluted value. By presenting this comprehensive information, the dashboard aims to equip DeFi enthusiasts with the necessary knowledge to better understand and navigate Flow's thriving DeFi ecosystem.

The methodology for this dashboard involves leveraging various tables within Flow's infrastructure, namely flow.core.ez_swaps, flow.core.fact_prices, and flow.core.ez_staking_actions, to calculate the metrics of interest pertaining to DeFi on the Flow blockchain.

To obtain the volume data for tokens such as FLOW, REVV, BLT, SPRT, and STARLY, which are tokens native to the Flow blockchain, we retrieve the information from Coinmarketcap. This ensures accurate and up-to-date token volume information for analysis.

The selected frequency for data aggregation is weekly, providing a comprehensive view of the metrics. However, users have the flexibility to modify this frequency using the provided controls. The time period for analysis can be adjusted through the "Past_weeks" parameter, which determines the number of weeks considered for calculations.

By combining the data from the aforementioned tables, along with the volume information from Coinmarketcap, the dashboard generates insights into Flow's largest liquidity pools and tracks the growth of these pools over time. Additionally, it captures critical data points such as ticker symbols, volume on decentralized exchanges (DEX), volume on centralized exchanges (CEX) where available, liquidity on DEX, token prices, market capitalization, and fully diluted value.

This robust and systematic methodology ensures the accuracy and reliability of the analysis presented on the dashboard, empowering users to gain a comprehensive understanding of the evolving DeFi ecosystem on the Flow blockchain.
