Popular Contracts on Flow
Q1. What are the 10 most popular contracts that have been used on Flow since May 9th? What do each of those contracts do and why do you think they are so popular? Are there any contracts that seem to be trending and growing in popularity?
Introduction
A new blockchain system known as Flow Dapper has been developed specifically for the future generation of software apps, video games, and digital assets. This protocol is brisk, risk-free, and straightforward to implement for blockchain developers. The potential of Flow Dapper to expand scalability without the demand for scaling, as well as to process transactions quickly and cheaply, is beneficial to decentralized applications (Dapps) such as NFT markets and blockchain games.
Method
The following types of statistical analysis are utilized inside this dashboard:
It was required to check the flow.core.fact
events database in order to figure out how many times each contact had been invoked and how many different transactions had relied on it.
Following that, the apps (or activities) associated with each contact were analyzed, and the total amount of time spent on each was calculated.
After that, we looked at the top 10 interactions to see if there were any consistent patterns that emerged.
Observation
According to the last graph, there are many distinct approaches to doing every given task. When we look closely enough at some of them, it is obvious that we can see that they are all one. There are a lot of withdrawal and deposit requests, but the vast majority of the total amount comes from just two categories.
Flow Token and Flow Fees contracts also performed well in this regard.
Conclusion
Since March 1st, these top 10 contacts have all but one experienced a declining trend in their activity.
The majority of these contacts exhibit a pattern with two peaks, but not all of them do. The following approximately two weeks later, on May 21th, the second peak occurs.
There is a significant relationship between the patterns that have been observed in the top three connections (Flow Token, Flow Fees, and FLOW). To put it in perspective...
