Introduction

We have chosen Taiyo Robotics as our NFT project on Solana in this dashboard.

Taiyo Robotics is a Solana-based NFT collection composed of 2,121 pixelized robots with a sole mission to protect the planet Earth from giant monsters.

The rights to the entire collection were acquired by Solport, an NFT marketplace in Solana, on December 22, 2021, when Taiyo Robotics’ floor price reached 2 SOL.

Method

In this dashboard, we consider 4 parameters to analyze the health of Taiyo Robotics an NFT project

the 4 parameters chosen are:

• The number of daily transactions.

• the number of daily users.

• Average volume in sol and USD and compare with whole Solana NFTs.

• the number of daily new users and compare it with the whole Solana NFTs.

• Top holders in the last of each month.

• Compare unique users and sales with Solport marketplace.

  we use ``Solana.core.fact_nft_sales`` and ``Solana.core.dim_nft_metadata`` tables for checking transactions of NFTs and ``Ethereum.core.fact_hourly_token_prices`` to obtain the SOL price over the time.

  For this analysis, we have selected the period from 2022 onwards.

Results

The below chart shows the total NFTs sales in Solana compared with the number of sales in the Taiyo Robotics collection. the performance of Taiyo Robotics in most months is worse than whole Solana NFTs and although the number of NFTs sales in Solana increase a lot in May and June Taiyo Robotics collection volume wasn’t increased.

The below charts show the average price of the Taiyo Robotics collection. the maximum price of it was 200 SOL on 4 March 2022.

we see a descending trend in the price of the Taiyo Robotics collection in recent months(from 197 SOL to 120 SOL). probably it is because of the NFTs market condition.

On the USD scale, the highest price of the Taiyo Robotics collection is about 20K.

On the USD scale, Taiyo Robotics' pricing decreases more sharply than on the SOL scale. 

The below chart shows the number of unique buyers and sellers of the Taiyo Robotics collection over the past months.

we see that both buyers and sellers decreased but almost the number of buyers and sellers are equal.

The below chart shows the average price of the Taiyo Robotics collection compared to the whole Solana NFTs.

it seems the Taiyo Robotics collection’s price decrease and increase slower than Solana NFTs and it hasn’t sharp movement.

NFT projects with few sharpness changes are better in the long run.

on the USD scale, we see the same pattern as the SOL scale, while the daily USD volume of Solana NFTs decreases by more than 90 percent this value in the Taiyo Robotics collection is lower.

This chart shows the number of holders per month.

It turns out that there has been an increase in the number of holders over time in the chart. This shows that more people are becoming interested in the Taiyo Robotics collection as time goes on.

This chart shows the total number of NFTs that hold by buyers over time(it doesn’t count the minters).

the number of wallets buying the Taiyo Robotics collection increased over time.

The following chart shows the top holders of Taiyo Robotics collections each month. Over time, the top holders have remained the same. This shows that they are not willing to flip or sell their NFTs, and even want to increase their Taiyo Robotics collection.

According to the Introduction, Solport acquired the rights to the Taiyo Robotics collection, so in this part, we compare the NFTs in the Solport marketplace with Taiyo Robotics.

Here is a chart showing how many NFTs are sold in Solport and how many Taiyo Robotics products are sold. I think it is pretty obvious that despite the growth of Solport, we see a descending trend in the Taiyo Robotics collection, regardless of the growth of Solport.

also, we the same pattern in the number of unique buyers and sellers when we compare the Solport marketplace with the Taiyo Robotics collection.

Conclusion

same as the whole NFTs collection in all blockchains such as Solana there is a downtrend in the number of sales, unique buyers and sellers and the price of Taiyo Robotics collection but there is some Pros and cons about the Taiyo Robotics collection:

pros

• The number of holders are increasing over the time.

• The top holders or whales of project willing to increase the number of NFTs.

• As compared with the entire Solana NFT collection, the average price decreases less.

• As compared with the entire Solana NFT collection, the number of sales and unique buyers and sellers decreases more.

• In spite of the growth of Solport's marketplace in sales and users, Taiyo Robotics didn't follow the same pattern

The below chart shows the daily newcomers to the Taiyo Robotics collection and the rate of newcomers rather than all Solana NFTs.

this rate fluctuates between 0.001 and 0.002 most of the time.
