    Introduction

    Algorand is an open source Pure Proof-of-Stake (PPoS) blockchain and cryptocurrency protocol for the "next generation of financial products". Hence, the Algorand network benefits from "full participation, security and speed in a fully decentralized network".

    The features of Algorand include competing with financial payment networks, focusing on industrial applications, offering customizable smart contracts (ASC) and asset tokenization. This blockchain also has a dedicated cryptocurrency called ALGO, which is used as an exchange and store of value interface.

    Method

    1. the price action of ALGO gotten with use of flipside_prod_db.algorand.prices_swap table, and we got the daily price as possible from the table data

    2. I used the App IDs with help of TX_MESSAGE column in flipside_prod_db.algorand.transactions or APP_id column in

      flipside_prod_db.algorand.application_call_transaction table to categorize the transactions AS each protocol

    3. percent of application call transactions calculated with flipside_prod_db.algorand.application_call_transaction

      table, and we presented AS donut figure to show the percentage perfectly. Also, we used the APP IDs that the question provided in these calculations

    4. the count of associated transactions for each protocol calculated with use of flipside_prod_db.algorand.application_call_transaction

      table and TX_GROUP_ID column, and we presented it with bar figure to show the transactions number for each protocol

    5. for transactions Type, I collected the associated transactions for each protocol then with help of

      TX_TYPE_NAME column in algorand. Transactions table  I find out what type of transactions are each protocol producing.

    6. The daily count of transactions and the fees that have been spent for each protocol calculated with help of transactions table and presented with bar figure from the start of the year

    Questions

    1. what percent of transactions their app calls and associated transactions (transactions in the same tx_group_id) make up on the Algorand blockchain?
    2. How have the number of transactions changed over time for each Protocol?
    3. How much in fees have been spent on transactions relating to each protocol?
    4. Has the price of ALGO been an influence on the number of transactions produced by each protocol?

    we can see here that tinyman had the most number of App call transactions and after it Algofi comes with 44.1% of All the transactions

    1. if we ignore the outlier on May,11 and may,12 we can say that in overall there was decrease in daily amount of transactions
    2. users attracted more to use algofi in this year
    3. the outlier data show us that the ATH was on May, 11

    Conclusion

    1. tinyman had the highest share of App call transactions with 55.1%
    2. in overall, there was decrease in number of transactions in this year
    3. Algo Fi spent the most on fee in this year
    4. the price of Algo fall due to condition of market and this affect the activity on this protocol, but there was interesting part which is from Jan 6 until Jan 18 the activity fall down very fast and that was due to volatile price action of algo
