✏️ Introduction
APE Coin:
ApeCoin (APE) is an ERC-20 governance token compliant with the Ethereum network. APE Airdrop:
150 million tokens (24.2% of the Ecosystem Fund and 15% of the total supply of ApeCoin) are claimable by BAYC and MAYC NFT holders upon launch of ApeCoin.
To ensure a fair launch of ApeCoin to BAYC and MAYC NFT holders, the allocation is informed by the difference in floor price between each collection of NFTs, roughly the month prior to the token claim launch (02/07/22 to 03/08/22). 🔎 Methodology
As mentioned in the introduction, the 150M $APE distribution between the holders of BAYC and MAYC NFTs is mentioned in the tokonomics of $APE. This distribution is in the form of Airdrop and has started since March. Users can receive their tokens using this site.
Therefore, in this dashboard, we will analyze and review the amount of claimed $APE and the behavior of claimers of this token. Also, the staking pools have been launched recently, and we will investigate this activity in the rest of this dashboard.
First, we will check the volume, claimers, the number of transactions, and distribution of claimers based on the volume. Also, the next destination of the claimers is investigated.
Flipside data has been used to obtain these results. We use Table ethereum.core.fact_event_logsas well as this address(0x025c6da5bd0e6a5dd1350fda9e3b6a614b205a1f) to find data related to the claim of $APE Airdrop. Tables dim_labels and ez_token_transfers are also used to track the next destination of $APE climbers.
The data relating to $APE staking(by using this address 0x5954ab967bc958940b7eb73ee84797dc8a2afbb9) on different pools are reviewed in the second part of this dashboard. The data is displayed hourly, and the share of each pool from the total volume, the total number of staking transactions, and the number of users are analyzed and reviewed. In the end, the distribution of users based on the volume they have staked is displayed.
✅Observation & Insights:
Airdrop of the $APE token started on March 17, and so far, 144M of that have been claimed by users, and only 3.98% of the total airdrop volume remains. The most significant volume of claims is related to the first day, March 17, when nearly 100M $APE was claimed, and we will further examine the data of this day. An average of 8.78K $APE is claimed per transaction, and 15.02K unique wallets have done 16.4K transactions.
According to the results related to P25, P50, and P75, it can be said that 25% of the transactions have claimed a volume of less than 2040 $APE, 50% of the transactions have claimed a volume of less than 2900 $APE, and 75% of Transactions have claimed a volume of less than 10.95K $APE.
✅Observation & Insights:
On March 17, about a fifth of the total volume of airdrops took place in the first hour. This amount has gradually decreased, but the average volume of claims has increased.
A third of the total number of users have also claimed their token in the first 2 hours.
Most users eligible to receive this token have claimed it on the first day.

According to the charts on the left, 62.5% of all claimers claimed the APE token on the first day, March 17. The most considerable amount claimed by a single wallet is 1.43M $APE. The next wallet also received more than 1M tokens, but most of the top claimers have claimed less than 400K $APE.

So far, 3,880 transactions for staking 12.1M $APE have been completed by 1,830 unique wallets. In the early hours, the number of swap transactions was more, and gradually their number decreased. The highest number of swap transactions occurred in the $APE Only pool. The graphs on the right show the share of each pool from the total number of staking transactions.
💡Conclusion
$APE Airdrop:
According to the above results and the total 150M $APE tokens allocated to Airdrop, only 3.98%, i.e., 5.96M, have not been claimed yet. The volume of claims and the number of claimers have gradually decreased, and most users have claimed their tokens on the first day. It is also known that half of the users received below 4,000 $APE tokens, while only one wallet claimed 1.43 million. Most of the volume of $APE that has been claimed has entered the Metamask swap router, which accounts for about 1.1 billion dollars.
$APE Staking:
About 12M $APE tokens have been staked on different pools in the early hours, which is a high average volume per user considering 1,830 users who have performed this action in 3,880 transactions. The largest staked volume is also on the BAYC pool, which according to the distribution of users, is related to tier 5.
