Introduction

Stride is a blockchain ("zone") that provides liquidity for staked tokens. Using Stride, you can earn both staking and DeFi yields across the Cosmos IBC ecosystem. Users receive staked tokens immediately when they liquid stake. Rewards accumulate in real time to staked token holders. These staked tokens can be freely traded, and can be redeemed with Stride at any time to receive back native tokens plus staking rewards.

In this analysis, we have investigated Stride on the Cosmos and Osmosis blockchains in terms of stake metrics, stake token transfers, inflow and outflow to Osmosis, and token swaps. The tokens we've examined include stOSMO, stATOM, stJUNO, stLUNA, and stSTARS. Additionally, we've examined the swaps of these tokens on the Osmosis blockchain.

For this analysis, we utilized the Flipside Crypto platform. The database of two blockchains, Osmosis and Cosmos, was employed. To identify stake transactions, we tracked transfers to addresses containing the phrases stakeibc and Autopilot in both the Osmosis and Cosmos blockchains.

To track the flow of stake tokens to Osmosis, transfers labeled IBC_TRANSFER_IN were considered as inflow and IBC_TRANSFER_OUT as outflow.

Lastly, we monitored these token contracts in the osmosis.defi.fact_swaps table to find swap transactions, and for determining the price of these tokens, we used the osmosis.price.ez_prices table.
