Methodology

Find all the daily active wallets which have more than 4 transactions in a week, for each week those wallets are classified as daily active wallets.
We also look at the 7 day moving average for the number of active wallets.
For various activities we look at respective tables such and only consider a wallet for activity if that wallet was classified as a active wallet in that week.

For the transfers coming in we look at the Top 10 wallet with the most number of transfers.

Wallet Activities

Most of the wallets that are active users are actually swappers on all the days.
Between Jan - May 2022 we did see a rise in the number of LPers and the wallets transferring tokens in using IBC transfer, however the swap number grew as well.
The highest number of swappers were 106K on May 12, 2022.
The highest number of LPers were 30.2K on Mar 1, 2022.
The highest number of stakers were 11K on Feb 16, 2022.
The highest number of transfers_in were 23.7K on May 12, 2022.

Where are the transfers coming from

Majority of the transfers in are coming from osmo1rl7lksuzayz5j0u0p35ezrw95czp3gyt73umxu with 96.9K transfers till date.
This is the highest and by far a lot more than the second wallet osmo1yz54ncxj9csp7un3xled03q6thrrhy9cztkfzs with only 17.8K transfers.
osmo1la6fjpswr9y37r7krn9hce2zjme0u23pvf4mja comes in third with only 11.2K transfers.

Daily Active User Metrics

The number of daily active users have been growing quite steadily until May 2022, however July 2022, saw a huge weird spike for the whole month.
The 7-day moving average also saw a huge spike with it going as high as 1.5M daily active users.
The number have come down to normal numbers with around 85K-100K daily active users and an average of around 78K users.

Conclusion

Most of the wallets that are active users are actually swappers on all the days.
