Methodology

Since plotting TPM is a lot of data and it slows down the dashboard, we are looking at TPM and then averaging out the TPM per day.

Measure the transactions per minute of Flow since May 9th and 'Successful transactions per minute' and create a chart showing how that metric

Given below is the Flow Average and Max TPM since May 09.
On an average Flow processes around 300-400 TPM.
Max TPM for Flow is around 3.3K TPM.

What types of events have raised or decreased the blockchain's performance over that time period?

TenantService on 16 May specifically raised the Average as well as Max TPM single handedly.
FlowToken and FlowFees have consistently been the most popular events responsible for most of the TPMs.
There are a lot of events that have decreased the performance with only 1 TPM like FlowContractAudits, Domains and GaiaPrimarySale

Are there bursts of transaction volume or interest on the chain? Compare Flow's speed to at least two other blockchains.

16 May and 26 May are the events of particular interest which saw a spike in the average and max TPM.

Compare Flow's speed to at least two other blockchains.

We compare flow to Ethereum, Solana and Terra in terms of average TPM and Max TPM
Flow is faster than Terra, comparable to Ethereum but very minimum as compared to Solana.
Flow will have to increase its speed if it has to be compared to some of the other faster chains out there.
