Inflows and Outflows (redux)

Methodology

We look at the ETH and USDC token transfers to the respective contract addresses

'0x99c9fc46f92e8a1c0dec1b1747d010903e884be1' -- ETH --&gt; Optimism

We look at number of transfers, number of wallets transferring and the total amount transferred for the past 90 days.

Conclusion

Most of the users are bridging from Ethereum to Optimism for both ETH and USDC.
Very minimal bridging volume is going from Optimism to Ethereum.
Seems like Optimism is the new home for a lot of Ethereum users.

ETH Transfers

In total 350M $USD worth of $ETH tokens have been transferred from Ethereum to Optimism in the past 90 days.
Only 50M $USD worth of $ETH tokens have been transferred from Optimism to Ethereum in the past 90 days.
The highest number of transfers were seen on 26 Oct, 2022 with 776 transfers going from Ethereum → Optimism and only 6 transfers going from Optimism → Ethereum.
The highest number of users transferring was seen on 26 Oct, 2022 as well with 714 wallets going from Ethereum → Optimism and only 2 wallets going from Optimism → Ethereum.
The highest amount of bridge volume was seen on 04 Aug, 2022 as well with 104M $USD going from Ethereum → Optimism and only 441K $USD going from Optimism → Ethereum.
