Find average daily price of both tokens via ethereum.token_prices_hourly
Find the difference between the price of STETH and ETH.
Note there is no ETH token so we look at the price of WETH

How has the price of stETH compared to ETH?

stETH has very closely followed ETH in terms of price for most of the time since it started.
There are a few cases where the price difference was more than 50$ USD where the price of stETH was less than the price of ETH.

Are there any events that triggered a big difference in price between the two tokens?

There were times where the price difference between the two was almost 65$ where the stETH was cheaper.
These major events where the price has diverged have been Feb 2021 - April 2021 and Sep 2021 - Dec 2022 and May 2022.
Looking at the relation with the price of ETH, there is not much co-relation between the price and the difference.
