• Based on Thor-105.Deposit rate from L1s, the deposits are defined as swaps into WETH on various platform.
• We look at the deposit rate from various swap tables.
• The start date is configurable above.

Calculate the deposit rate of wETH over time on Osmosis

• Given below is the deposit rate in terms of both number of swaps and swap volume.
• In terms of number of swaps, May 2022, saw a lot of frequency, with OSMO is the most common asset swapped to WETH with 4.2K swaps.
• In terms of swap volume, May 2022, saw a lot of volume, with OSMO, COSMOS and USDC, the most common asset swapped to WETH with 722,766,860 WETH respectively.

How does this compare to SushiSwap and Thorchain now?

• Comparing OSMOSIS deposit rate to Sushiswap and thorchain in terms of number of deposits and deposit volume.
• In terms of number of deposits, Thor is way less as compared to Osmosis, where as Sushiswap is a lot more than Osmosis.
• In terms of deposit volume, Thor is more as compared to Osmosis, where as Sushiswap is a lot more than Osmosis.

How does the wETH deposit rate compare to when wETH was a relatively new asset (or the protocol was relatively new)?

• The deposit rate was relatively slow for Osmosis and Thorchain, however Sushiswap saw a lot more deposit rate as compared to Osmosis and Thorchain, we can see that below in the charts.

Is Osmosis growing at a faster rate than Thorchain and Sushiswap?

• If we look at deposit volume, then no Osmosis is not growing faster than Sushiswap or Thorchain.
• It might grow faster than Thor at some point but it would be hard to compete with Sushiswap.
