Terra-175.Scanner Sweep

Q175. Bounty question #157 was to create a dashboard to show the health of the Terra ecosystem. For this bounty, your job is to write a succinct one-page summary or summary dashboard assessing a submission of your choice for the Acme of Skill bounty (#157). Grand prize winners will compare at least two of these submissions. What is effective about these metrics of the Terra ecosystem? What would you add or change to make your chosen submission(s) an even better resource for LUNAtics?

    Overview

This dashboard encapsulates and shows the overall health of the Terra Ecosystem. It is broken down in the following categories:

    • Health
    • User Stats
    • Validators

    Health

    • This focuses specifically on the most important stats the directly affect the ecosystem health, like the LFG and Anchor Reserves, LUNA and UST circulating supply, Transactions per second and the UST Peg Variance.
    • LFG Reserve Balance: This depicts the LFG reserve balance on the Terra Ecosystem, this is very important to maintain the Peg and grow the ecosystem.
    • Anchor Yield Reserve Balance: This shows the Anchor Yield reserve balance over time.
    • Luna Supply: The current total and circulating supply of Luna, shows how the LUNA supply is decreasing or increasing, also has a forecast metric.
    • UST Supply: The current circulating supply of UST, indirectly shows the growth of the ecosystem, , also has a forecast metric.
    • Transactions per Second: This tells how healthy the system is in terms of transactions processed per second, these are important in looking how the system is doing overall.
    • UST Peg Variance: This is probably the most important metric of them all, this what the end goal is of the whole Terra Ecosystem, maintain the UST Peg.

    Validators

    • Validators are another very crucial part of the ecosystem, they maintain decentralization and secure the network. It is very important to see the Validator voting power breakdown along with how the validators are doing in terms of uptime and missed blocks.
    • Downtime and Max Blocks missed: Total downtime in minutes over the validator lifetime and maximum blocks missed.
    • Validator Voting Power: Shows the voting power breakdown of each validator in terms of overall percentage.
    • Delegator Breakdown: How are delegators delegating in terms of number of validators delegated to.
    • Delegators and Staked Luna: The total number of delegators and the overall amount of staked Luna.

    User Stats

    • This focuses on the overall growth of the ecosystem in terms of new users, active users, types of user and user activity around IBC Cosmos. These stats can show the overall engagement of the users with the ecosystem.
    • New Wallets: The number of new users joining the Terra Ecosystem, this is important as this shows how popular is the ecosystem.
    • Active Wallets: The number of wallets which are actively making transactions, similar to new users, there should be active wallets using the ecosystem.
    • IBC Users: Daily and Cumulative number of wallets using the IBC Bridge.
    • Active Wallet Balance: The breakdown of active wallets based on their balance in $USD, this tells us the overall whales in the ecosystem and how active they are.
    • Wallet Current Balance: Wallet breakdown based on the current balance in $USD.
    • Wallet Activity by Hour: Show when the wallets are most active by UTC hour, this might give a good idea about which region is the most active in terms of activity.
