    What does the average Optimism user's portfolio look like and how has that changed over time? Earlier this year, Optimism offered an airdrop to users. Let’s examine the airdrop after a few months. How many users claimed optimism airdrop? How much of the total airdrop was claimed? How many wallets are still holding tokens from airdrop? How much of users delegated their OPs?

    An overview of the process: This question was asked on 10/22/2022 by Flipside. To answer this question, we examine the mentioned items in two series. First, we review the previous grand-prize-winning dashboards by Flipside users and check their opinions on how to solve the problem. In the second step, we check the data that may have changed over time and check the new data changes.

    Based on the information in the mentioned link, the following data can be extracted:

    • The Optimism Foundation’s Airdrop #1 rewards those who have been instrumental as early adopters and active users of projects in the Optimism ecosystem. To celebrate our Ethereum roots, The Optimism Foundation also wants to welcome active L1 participants who can help scale Ethereum’s innovations, culture, and values to Layer 2. In total, 248,699 addresses are eligible to claim OP in this initial airdrop.
    • Our airdrop has six sets of criteria. Two for Optimism users that target early adopters and active project users, and four for L1 Ethereum, which targets active contribution, positive-sum behaviors, and active participation. Each set is distinct, meaning that an address can be eligible for multiple and allocated a sum of tokens accordingly. A snapshot of addresses was taken on 03-25-2022 0:00 UTC.     Definitions:

    • Holders:

      We categorize the wallets that include airdrop based on the balance of the wallet in the following order: We consider the wallets whose balance after airdrop is more than the amount received by airdrop as the main keepers. We have considered wallets that have kept part of the received airdrop and transferred or converted part of it as partial holders. We consider wallets that have transferred all received airdrops as sellers.

    • stacking:

      To calculate the amount of stack built by the winners, after receiving the airdrop, we check the transaction related to the winner's wallets.

    • To analyze the required data, we use optimism.core, fact_event_logs, fact_token_transfers, fact_delegations and fact_hourly_prices.

    • We use the contract address: 0xfedfaf1a10335448b7fa0268f56d2b44dbd357de

      to find the wallets that won the airdrop.
