What's going on in Zora?!

    Tracking NFT mints on Zora

    Intruduction
    Methodology

âš« For finding Zora-related mint transactions, I used Zora's minting fee collector contract = '0xd1d1d4e36117ab794ec5d4c78cbd3a8904e691d0'

âš« There are 2 types of mints on Zora: Free and paid ones and Zora collects 0.000777 $eth as platform fee in both types of these mints for each minted NFT token, fro finding free mint collections I used "net mint volume" metric, which can be found by deducting Zora's fee from the original mint cost. In free mint projects, the only payment is Zora's fee, so there is 0 net mint volume.

âš« For finding the newly created wallets, I used the 'nonce=0' filter to find the wallets that made their first transaction in the timeframe I was tracking.

Zora platform is one of the main trends on Ethreum NFTs recently and in this dashboard I'll take a look at Zora's NFT launchpad, but before starting let's get familiar with the protocol:

Zora labs is an NFT marketplace. Users can list and view digital files including photos, videos, audio, and music, and use Zora's features such as drop alerts and notifications. Developers can use Zora's no-code Creator Toolkit to mint, drop, display and sell NFTs within the platform. (click here to see the source )

Zora describes themselves as a “universal media registry protocol” as a way to share "NFTs. They’ve created the following manifesto:

"The platforms that hold our audiences and content hostage. The labels that lock down our rights. The galleries that hold our art ransom. The big brands that think exposure is cash. They have a monopoly on ownership, a monopoly on creativity and they have been robbing us of the value we create for as long as there’s been a creative industry." click here to see the source )
