Uncovering Insights from Stride Zone
Explore Stride on Cosmos network, focusing on ATOM and OSMO stake data, and Stride OSMO stakers' activity on Osmosis network.

This dashboard serves as an in-depth exploration of Stride, a zone on the Cosmos network since its inception. The analysis is divided into two main sections: the first section delves into ATOM and OSMO stake statistics on Stride, while the second section focuses on the activity of OSMO stakers on Stride on the Osmosis network, covering three key aspects: Swaps, Transfers, and Staking.
Data Source:
To conduct this investigation, data from the Flipside database was utilized, with a specific focus on the Cosmos and Osmosis schemas. This data source provides comprehensive and reliable information for a thorough analysis.
Section 1: ATOM and OSMO Stake Statistics on Stride
In the initial segment, we explore the intricate world of ATOM and OSMO staking on the Stride platform. This includes examining the number of stakers, the total staked value, and the prominent users contributing to the ecosystem. The goal is to gain insights into the extent of engagement and financial commitment within the Stride network.
Section 2: Osmo Stakers Activity on Osmosis Network
The second part of the investigation shifts its focus to OSMO stakers and their activities within the Osmosis network. It is divided into three distinct categories:
-
Swaps: This section scrutinizes the behavior of OSMO stakers in terms of swaps conducted on the Osmosis network. Key metrics include the number of users involved and the total volume of assets swapped, shedding light on the trading dynamics.
-
Transfers: The transfer section explores the movement of assets by OSMO stakers within the Osmosis network. It delves into the number of users engaged in transfers and the overall value of assets transferred, providing insights into liquidity and asset flow.
-
Stake: In the staking segment, we investigate the active participation of OSMO stakers in the staking program of the Osmosis network. Metrics include the number of participants and the total value staked, revealing the level of trust and commitment to the network.
Stride is a blockchain ("zone") that provides liquidity for staked assets. Using Stride, you can earn both staking and DeFi yields across the Cosmos IBC ecosystem.
Stride is built using Cosmos SDK and Tendermint. Stride allows users to liquid stake any IBC-compatible cosmos SDK native appchain token. Under the hood, Stride leverages the Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol, Interchain Accounts and Interchain Queries.
Stride has recently seen a significant surge in activity, with a total of 48.2K staker transactions and 19.8K active stakers locking their ATOM tokens in the platform. Impressively, the total value staked on Stride stands at around 10.5 million USD, equivalent to 1.3 million ATOM.
Noteworthy among these users is cosmos1xdas2sj202gh003jt4hlhl895pgns6xyv643ls, who stands out due to their substantial stake volume of approximately 3.26 million USD (or 370K ATOM). This illustrates the commitment of Stride's users to the platform.
Further examination of the data reveals intriguing trends. The last week of June witnessed the highest weekly transaction and staker counts, with 7.8K transactions and 7.6K stakers, respectively. In contrast, the peak weekly stake volume was recorded during the first week of August, reaching a substantial 2 million USD.
Meanwhile, on the Osmosis network, approximately 3.5K users have engaged in swaps, conducting exchanges totaling 125.4 million USD. Additionally, about 4K users have actively transferred over 67 million USD within the Osmosis network, demonstrating a high degree of liquidity and asset movement.
Moreover, in the staking program of Osmosis, approximately 3.6K users have been actively participating, staking more than 80 million USD since its inception. This highlights the confidence users have in the Osmosis network and the rewards it offers.
Interestingly, there is an overlap between users who staked OSMO on Stride and received stOSMO, and those actively participating on the Osmosis network. This interconnection suggests a symbiotic relationship between these two ecosystems, with users leveraging opportunities across both platforms, showcasing the dynamic nature of the OSMO and Osmosis communities within the decentralized finance landscape.
