let’s take a look a this nft-based game collection!

Task

• How quickly did it sell out? Show shuffle sales over time!

• What percent of Genesis NFT holders also hold COSG tokens, show the distribution of COSG balances for the NFT holders

• Show the distribution of ALGO balances for the NFT holders

  • And when their wallets were created over time.

• Did this NFT drop bring in new wallets into the ecosystem? yes it did.

• Look at how many Genesis NFTs does each wallet holds.

• How much in ALGO sales were generated from the shuffle

  I just could not find a way to retrieve the sales ALGO volume, sorry bout that.

Method

All the data used was from Flipside’s Data repository

• flipside_prod_db.algorand.asset_transfer_transaction to find the first batch of nfts sent, turns out that the first one was directed towards the marketplace.
  • This table also used to find the selling moments of the sales on July 6.
• flipside_prod_db.algorand.asset to name the nfts.
• flipside_prod_db.algorand.account_asset to find holding related questions.
• flipside_prod_db.algorand.account to find creation dates.

  • With some sql magic from flipside_prod_db.algorand.blockto find the exact date.

How quickly did it sell

and yes, it did brought new users to Algorand.

• Its a bit chaotic i know, but consider its plotted in minutes.
• In the first five hours most of the Cosmic Camps Genesis NFTs were sold.
• With the last one being sold directly from the Market, address where the creator deposited all the nfts, 16 hours after the gates opened for the collection.

In total, there are 946 Cosmic Champ NFT holders

And just 150 of them have Cosmic Gold tokens.

Wen arrival date

Of those accounts that bought nfts, the biggest bulk of them had just arrived at Algorand when the sale began.

More specifically, 770 of them arrived in July. The other 345 arrived before that.

The two oldest accounts date from Aug, 18 2020 & Jan, 4 2021.

And how many do they hold?

Most of holders, just one

like, 907 of them.

And two people hold more than 50! (I’m really not sure about this number)

Do they hold $COSG?

Yeap, at least 150 of them.

Actually, only 16 of them holds between 0 and 1k COSG.

The bulk of them, 79, holds more than 10 millions but less than 100 millions.

And ALGO, do they hold some?

There is a really good spanish wordplay to be done here but it would lost :C

Tho most of them holds between 0 ALGO and 1.

In total 22 of them holds more than 5k Algo.

The bulk of ALGO per wallet would be in the range of more than 1 ALGO but less than 1K ALGO. Which, well, sounds reasonable .
