Analysis

• To calculate the amount of distinct wallets and the volume being sent to zkSync Flipside's ethereum.core.ez_eth_transfers table was used.

ZkSync is a scaling solution for Ethereum that is live on mainnet. Some of the main features of ZkSync are the extremely low transaction fees and trustless protocol design.

• Over the past 60 days, a total of 69,040 wallets have sent their ETH towards zkSync.

• This lovely, little clumped chart shows us the next few points:
  • For the three spikes in ETH volume, only one correlated with an increase in transactions activity.
  • The days before Terra collapsed activity towards zkSync was on the rise.
  • Post collapse the activity diminished but the volume spiked up. May, 12th for example, with 97 transactions towards zkSync a total of 1,120 ETHs were sent.

In somehow shorter?

• ETH volume towards zkSync has remained consistent considering the global crypto market downward trend.

• The chain seems healthy considering that neither activity volume or ETH deposited volume has decreased amidst a market crashing.
