introduction

Hop is essentially a multi-network bridge. It’s technology agnostic and can be applied to any EVM-compatible chain. Using Hop, users can move their funds (hop) between different Layer-2s or withdraw their funds from a Layer-2 to Ethereum mainnet instantly. (source)

method

• In this Bounties we want to:

  1. find out number of unique users have bridged to L2s using Hop.
  2. the most volume bridged in past 6 month.
  3. find out the asset have been bridged the most.
  4. Show an analysis of the asset distribution of bridging through Hop.

• HOP bridge address (origin_to_address) find in Etherscan.(source)the addresses:

conclusion

• Ethereum bridge has the largest volume and most number of bridging in the past 6 month.
• After Ethereum bridge the largest volume and number of bridging is for USDC.
• On Feb 24 we have the largest amount of volume bridging and on Jun 21 we have the most number of bridging.
• On February 22 Lyra integrates with Hop on optimism to provide seamless bridging from Ethereum.
• On February 16 imtoken adding support for Hop.

The chart above shows the number of unique account bridge through hop, according to the chart it shows that:

• This is unique account that use hop bridge tokens and eth. in this results can be the users that bridge eth and tokens both.

The chart above shows the Volume of amount USD bridged in past 6 month, according to the chart it shows that:

• The largest amount volume of bridging is in Feb 24 , Jan 20.
• The largest volume of bridging for eth_ bridge and its address mention in method.
• Only in few days *USDC amount bridging is more than eth bridging like Jun 20, May 11,15,19 ,Apr 1. In first two month of 2022 the Ethereum Bridge has the biggest volume of bridge in past 6 months.

According to the chart it shows that:

• The largest volume bridging through the hop is for Ethereum Bridge. in other words the largest volume USD bridged:

Ethereum Bridge > USDC Bridge > DAI Bridge > USDT Bridge > MATIC Bridge > WBTC Bridge

The chart above shows the total Volume bridging through hop in past 6 month, according to the chart it shows that:

• The most number of bridging through HOP is in the june 2022, from [May 31 to Jun 16]
• The most number bridging through HOP is in Jun 21 .
• WBTC has the least number of bridging.
