AllDomains | ANS Protocol
AllDomains is a protocol built on the Solana blockchain that aims to provide a decentralized domain name system (DNS) for the internet. The protocol is designed to allow users to register, manage, and transfer domain names in a secure and transparent manner. AllDomains uses Solana's fast and scalable blockchain technology to ensure quick and efficient domain name registration and management. The protocol is built on top of Solana's high-performance network, which enables it to handle large volumes of transactions with low fees and minimal latency.
The protocol also offers a range of other features, including support for multiple top-level domains (TLDs), domain name auctions, and domain name parking. Users can also set up custom DNS settings for their domain names, allowing them to point their domains to any IP address or website they choose.
The data provided by Flipside has been used to handle this analysis.
As a first step, I registered for .abc domain in the alldomains.id and then explore more from my registration tx_id
Just figure out that three various massages have been recorded for the domain registration on AllDomain protocol:
-
'Program log: Creating new domain%' for .bonk and .poor have no extend option and created once
-
'Program log: Buying or extending renewable domain%' for .abc and .moon with extend option
-
'Program log: Claiming an expirable domain%' for .abc TLD
1- In this investigation, first of all, the domain registration in the AllDomain protocol has been investigated.
- Metrics-> Total created domains and users, volume of registration fee in SOL, BONK and USD, overtime analysis
2- After the first part, the analysis related to the various domain types has been executed.
- Clustering TLDs with a fixed and variable registration fee
- Determining premium and regular domains on .abc and .moon (Premium domains are defined as domains with less than 5 characters)
- Time period of registered domain
3- The behavior of the AllDomain users is investigated in the next section of this analysis.
- Distribution of users by registered TLDs
- Distribution of users by registered domains
- Most popular sectors and programs for AllDomain users in the Solana blockchain
