Ethscriptions: Create, Share, and Thrive in the Ethereum Ecosystem!

    About Ethscriptions

Ethscriptions are a new type of on-chain digital artifact that's been gaining attention lately. Unlike NFTs, which use the ERC-721 token standard, Ethscriptions are stored at the transaction level. This means that they're actually embedded within the Ethereum blockchain itself, rather than just being attached to it like NFTs. The idea behind Ethscriptions is that they create a permanent, tamper-proof record of digital artifacts on the blockchain. This could be useful for things like creating digital collectibles, preserving digital art, or recording important historical events. It's a pretty cool innovation, and could be a game-changer for how we store and share digital information in the future!

Ethscriptions guarantee the originality of data in the following ways:

    • An Ethscription is created whenever an Ethereum transaction is successful, and its input data (interpreted as UTF-8) forms a valid data URI. This URI must be unique, meaning duplicate content is disregarded.
    • Each Ethscription is a unique data URI, ensuring originality and ownership changes based on transaction input data.
    • Ethscriptions support all valid mime types and guarantee global uniqueness of the content of all valid Ethscriptions.
    • Each Ethscription is guaranteed a unique identification through a special data URI.
