1. Play type
2. NBA teams
3. NBA players

This analysis is done for the past 90 days.

NFT on Flow:

Non-fungible token or NFT is one of the types of unique cryptographic assets and the abbreviation is Non-fungible token. NFT tokens are transferable and exchangeable. Irregular tokens can be easily stored in digital wallets and included in exchange transactions.

Key findings:

Dive deep in the data of NBA Top Shot in this part and summarized the outcomes or specific play types in the following statements.

• In the past 90 days, the Rim play type has the highest sale volume and 3-pointer stands in the second rank.
• The sale and unique buyers count validate the previous statement as most popular play types in the past 90 days.
• The highest average sale price in the past 90 days belongs to the Reel play type with over 174 USD.
• The average volume of sale per days and buyer per day are high for Rim play type in the past 90 days.
• As can be seen, the daily volume of sale for NBA TopShots has been decreased over time and its due to the off-season of NBA.

• The hold time of NFTs shown that about half of purchasers sold their NFTs within 24 hours after buy.
• The NBA teams with young blood has the highest hold NFT like Boston Celtics because people hold their NFTs for future. (like Jayson Tatum on Boston Celtics)

Key findings:

• The top NBA players with highest sale volume have been obtained for the past 90 days and King James takes the first place as expected.
• The presence of LaMelo Ball in the second rank is a bit strange but due to his rising form and Controversial words of his father its normal to be here.
• we can see a spike on average sale price of NFTs related to King James on October 11 after he called that the redeem team is the greatest international team of all-time.
• The King James has the most expensive NFTs among top NBA players.
• People hold young bloods NFTs more than other players like Donovan Mitchel.

Now, its time to dive deep on various play types!

• The Reel play type is the most expensive play type and all of the sales for this play type happened for more than 50 USD.
• The Handles has the largest percentage of sales for under 10 USD and can be named as a cheapest one.
• People hold the Rim and 3-pointer NFTs more than other play types and sold Reel and 2-pointer NFTs within 24 hour more than other play types.
• The Rim holders hold more than 4 NFTs by 51% of holders and the Reel holders usually hold 1 NFT.

Conclusion:

Various aspects of NBA TopShots have been investigated through this dashboard. There are some key findings wants to share but not consider them as Investment advice!

• The play type of NBA has been changed over time and most of the teams wants to play with 3 pointers but the popularity of special plays remain. It could be consider that the NFTs related to the novel and arising play types could be more valuable in the future.
• By considering NBA teams on NFTs, you must look at the squad of teams and philosophy of head coach and estimate how far this team can go. Then you can buy most profitable NFTs of the next year!
• From the players point of view, some of the players like King James or Chris Paul will be retired in the few years so their NFTs could be more valuable specially after their retirement.
• But young bloods and rising stars like Luka Dončić (Luka the magic), Ja Morant and Greek Freak (Giannis Antetokounmpo) will be dominated the league for the next decade and their NFTs are going to be more valuable in future.
