Terra 2.0 (LUNA) cryptocurrency is the latest edition of the Terra blockchain. As a result of a hard fork initiated by Terra founder Do Kwon in May 2022 and voted on by the community, the Terra blockchain underwent a significant fork. A new cryptocurrency, LUNA, was created, called LUNA2, replacing Terra 2.0's original blockchain and coin LUNA Classic or LUNC. Despite their differences, both blockchains exist and are operated separately, which can confuse new investors.

A problem with Terra (UST), an algorithmic stablecoin, is that it is not linked to a stable asset like gold or the U.S. dollar. In some way, it was tied to LUNA, which is as explosive as any other cryptocurrency. After dropping from a high of roughly $116 to less than a penny, LUNA was finally delisted from crypto exchanges. As a result, the cryptocurrency market as a whole also suffered losses.

Do Kwon proposed creating a blockchain hard fork so that LUNA will be eternally de-pegged from UST. LUNA 2.0 was born on May 28, three days after Terra members voted in favor of the hard fork. As a result, the old coin has been renamed Luna Classic (LUNC).

I collected the number of senders with a minimum date within the last 30 days from the terra.core.fact_transactions table in order to calculate the number of senders.

Considering that it has been repeatedly mentioned in the dashboard that the new wallet design was launched on June 14, on the basis of this, I have divided the past 30 days into the following groups:

The average number of users on the Terra station day was the most, with 274. This day was only one day. So the average number of new users is the same as that of new users on this day.

As you can see in the dashboard, almost all metrics are up significantly after the launch of Terra Stations, but after a while, they start to drop a little. Accordingly, it can be concluded that the newly launched wallet launch on the Terra network has been not only able to attract new users to the network but also been able to change the behavior of existing users on the network after the launch and motivate them to stay on the network as a result of the launch of the new wallet. By doing this, the number of transactions, the volume of transactions, swaps to Luna, and a variety of other things have increased.
