Methodology
This dashboard consists of two main parts.in the first part, you can find the overall transactions stats in Optimism network and popular sectors in terms of tx count and user count and also weekly top 10 projects which Optimism users interacted with.
In the second and main part, you can find the transfers stats made by users using OP token and also popular sectors and projects as well as the rate of different activities generally and by the time .
The meaning of average portfolio in this dashboard is to analyze the transactions made by users in the Optimism network using OP token in different sectors and platforms, and research on popular projects in general and over time, and chech the changes in the volume and ratio of different actions, such as swapping, farming, staking and unstaking, bridging, NFT and other activities.

What is Optimism token used for?
In short, Optimism uses advanced data compression techniques to speed up and cut the costs of Ethereum transactions. They do so by a technique known as called Optimistic Rollups, where multiple transactions are “rolled up” into one transaction and settled on another cheaper blockchain. [1]
Findings and conclusion

In terms of popularity, Defi Sector is the most popular among all optimism users over time and in general. Over time, NFT has had the highest growth rate in the cumulative chart. With the passage of time, in terms of share of users, defi decreased and Nft and layer 2 increased.

But among OP users, Layer2 and DEX sectors have been the most popular. In the cumulative chart, it is also clear that these two sectors, passing the rest, have a significant growth rate in terms of numbers

In terms of #txs, Prepetual protocol.Hop protocol and Uniswap are the most popular among all optimism users over time and in general.But, In terms of #users,Hop protocol is the most popular among all optimism users over time and in general.

Among in OP users, Uniswap has been the most popular with 74% of all txs. Slingshot and Rubicoin are ranked next with 11 % and 7% of all transactions.
TRANSFER

Every day, about 20 to 40 thousand transfer transactions related to the OP token are carried out in the Optimism network by about 2000 senders, and in these transactions, about 30 million OP are rejected between users, which is equivalent to 35 to 40 million dollars. The growth rate All the metrics related to transactions, such as the number of senders and receivers, the number of transactions, the volume and number of transactions are growing.

63.8% of OP Holders hold less than 5 OPs and 16% hold 10-100 OPs.

It seems that, among the investigated cases, Swap activities with 30% among OP token holders has been the most popular over time. After that, Bridging with 7% and NFT with 2.14% have been used the most. If we overlook ‘other activities’, the popularity of swap reaches 74% and NFT reaches 17.5% among other activities.
