What is Terra?
Terra is an open-source blockchain payment platform for an algorithmic stablecoin, which are cryptocurrencies that automatically track the price of currencies or other assets. The Terra blockchain enables users to instantly spend, save, trade, or exchange Terra stablecoins. The Terra protocol creates stablecoins designed to consistently track the price of a fiat currency (a government-backed currency such as the U.S. dollar or euro). It consists of two cryptocurrency tokens—Terra and Luna.Terra is a payment system that resides and is built upon a blockchain. It was developed by South Korea-based Terraform Labs, which was founded in 2018 by Do Kwon and Daniel Shin. Do Kwon was formerly employed by Microsoft and Apple and founded a startup, Anyfi, which offered decentralized wireless mesh networking solutions. Shin is the founder and CEO of Asian payment technology company Chai—a Terra partner—and was co-founder of Korean e-commerce firm TMON, also known as Ticket Monster.
what is Total Supply?
Total Supply refers to the total amount of coins or tokens of a specific cryptocurrency that have been created or mined, that are in circulation, including those that are locked or reserved.
Coins that have been burned or destroyed should be subtracted from this amount.
If you can trade them, the coins or tokens are considered in circulation.
What is Circulating Supply?
Circulating Supply refers to the number of coins or tokens of a specific cryptocurrency that are publicly available to buy or sell.
If you can trade them, they are considered circulating.
Crypto projects often don’t release all of a cryptocurrency’s supply to the market, instead waiting to mine or mint more coins in the future.
MARKET CAPITALIZATION = CIRCULATING SUPPLY x ASSET’S MARKET PRICE
In this dashboard, we are going to mainly concentrate on the following metrics:
- Total Supply
- Circulating Supply
- Vesting Schedule
- % LUNA IBC-ed out
- Richlist (Top 100)
- of LUNA staked
- % of LUNA staked
- Staking rewards distributed in USD trend
To find out the total and circulating supply, we have used ez_swaps and ez_transfers tables
To find out staking-related details, we have used ez_staking, and for finding rewards, we have used ez_transfers table
To find out the Rich list (100) we have used ez_transfers table
for the bridged-out transaction, we have used ez_transfers table
In the first analysis, we are going to find out Total and circulating supply
Observations:
As we can observe,
The total supply of Luna is 1.08B
The total circulating supply of Luna is 193M and
The circulating to the total supply of Luna is 18.5%.
In the second analysis, we are going to find out Luna staking and the percentage of Luna staked.
Observations:
As we observe in the above charts, we found out Luna staking count on daily basis based on the action which is [redelegate, undelegate, delegate]. As we can observe 90% of this analysis, is related to the delegate process which is (657,634).
73% of the Luna staking amount is related to redelegate process which is around (243,856,366.5).
We can also observe, the average reward amount on daily basis based on transactions which were highest on November 18th with ~4302.
USD reward staking price on a daily basis is high on November 18th with ~6.5M.
The average closed price was high on Sep 11th, 2022 with ~5.95.
Daily total count of transactions based on rewards was high on September 9th, 2022 with 8748.
In the third analysis, we are going to find out Rich list(top 100)

As we can observe in the above chart, the rich list (100) of the terra ecosystem. The top Rich lists in the terra ecosystem with their volume or balance

In the fourth analysis, we are going to find out Luna in and out from DEFIs
Observations:
As we can observe in the left chart, the in and out of Luna based from DEFIs.
At the intial days in the chart, we can observe the outage amount of LUNA before June 26th is very little and is less than 4000 Luna.
From the beginning the entrance of Liquidity in DEFI is an upward trend from the beginning.
In the fifth analysis, we are going to find out
Observations:
In the above charts, we found out the total luna that has been bridged out.
The average count of Luna that bridged out per user is 81.8.
The average count of Luna that bridged out per txn is 44.5.
The total number of active users count is 6390.
The total volume of bridged-out Luna is 523k.
Total Bridged out Luna count is 11.75k.
In the sixth analysis, we are going to find out Luna that has been bridged out on Daily basis.
Observations:
The total count of Luna that bridged out on daily basis was high on May 29th, 2022 with a total count of 1318.
Osmo has the highest count of Bridged out Luna with 24.
The active users that have bridged out Luna were high on May 29th, 2022 with 1245.
The Amount of LUNA that has bridged out on a daily basis was high on May 30th, 2022 with ~89k.
The highest amount of Luna bridged out was on Osmo blockchain with ~136k.
In the seventh analysis, we are going to find out The average Luna that has been bridged out
Observations:
As we can observe in the left chart, the average luna that has been bridged out on daily basis.
The average luna that has been bridged out on daily basis was high on July 2n, 2022 with ~254.
In the eighth analysis, we are going to find out Top wallets with most bridged out LUNA
Observations:
As we can observe in the left chart, we have found out the top wallets with most bridged out Luna.
