In this dashboard we study some topics about HOP protocol:

    • How many unique users have bridged to L2s using Hop?
    • What days in the past 6 months have seen the most volume bridged?
    • Which assets have been bridged the most?

We can see the chart that shows USD value of assets bridged to L2s via hop in the past 6 months:

We can see that there are some spikes in the volume of bridge in the past 6 months. for example, in June 1st we had the most volume bridged to L2s via Hop despite decrease of market cap value than before.

If we have some digging in the events in L2s, we can relate this spike to Optimism airdrop date.

    • Base on the above chart, most value of bridges to L2s come from ETH and USDC (more than 74%)
    • In 1st of June, we also had a spike in count of bridges.

We can see the chart that shows counts of bridges to L2s via hop in the past 6 months:

    • ETH with about 56,000 bridges is the most bridged asset to L2s via HOP in the past 6 months.

    Method

    • All HOP contracts is extracted from etherscan
    • All TransferSentToL2 events from those contracts counted as bridge.
    • USD value of each bridged asset has been extracted from daily average prices of fact_hourly_token_prices

First, lets find out how many unique users have bridged to L2s using Hop?
