    Origin of Token Transfers

    What is Osmosis in crypto?

Osmosis is a DEX protocol, which means it uses smart contracts to determine the price of digital assets, to produce liquidity via a peer-to-peer (P2P) methodology, and to exact trades between users. This approach to an exchange platform is known as an AMM — a DEX protocol that prices crypto assets in liquidity pools. [Source]

In this dashboard, we will define daily and weekly active users and review their activity to see which activities are more common among those users.

    Definitions

    • In this dashboard, Daily Active Users (DAU) are users that at least was active for four days in a week
    • In this dashboard, Weekly Active Users (WAU) are users that were active for most of the days and most of the weeks. [At least 4 days a week for more than 50% of weeks]
    • We can see that the percent of daily active users is always decreasing. this is because most of new users won’t become an active user.

    Findings:

    • Most of the actions on Osmosis are done via daily active users except Tranfer-IN transactions. most of Tranfer-IN transactions are done via inactive users (users that weren't active for at least 4 days in a week)
    • Most actions done via DAUs are: swapping actions, staking rewards, and transfer-out.
    • Most actions done via WAUs are: staking rewards, swapping actions, and LP actions.
    • Most actions done on Osmosis are: Transfer-IN and Swapping actions.
    • the event of the actions in LP, staking, and superfluid staking action are fairly the same for all types of users but WAUs claim their rewards more than withdraw them. they probably stake them again.
    • WAUs mostly transfer IBC tokens while DAUs mostly transfer Osmo.

    Summary
