Introduction:

• One of the important metrics related to the analysis of blockchains is the consideration of newcomers on each blockchain.

• The Algorand, Terra, Solana and Ethereum blockchains are investigated from the newcomers points of view.

• The investigation time is since start of 2022.

• The weekly basis is considered as a main periods of analysis.

The weekly number of newcomers for each blockahin is shown in this figure. Base on this chart, the newcomers on Algorand are grown in specific weeks as can be seen in the figure. On of these specific date is the first 10 days of January and the second half of February.

The total number of newcomers on each blockchain in 2022 is shown in this bar chart. Based on this figure and as its expected, the Ethereum blockchain has the largest number of newcomers but performance of Algorand could not be ignored.

The cumulative number of newcomers for each blockchain is presented in this chart.

Based on this chart, the Algorand blockchain has satisfactory performance among blockchains and reachs the Solana blockchain from number of newcomers in 2022.
