Q46. Compare the number of unique wallets that have sent a transaction since February 1st on Algorand vs Solana vs Ethereum vs Terra. How does user adoption seem to be trending for Algorand compared to these other major chains? Does it appear that market conditions are slowing down growth or activity on the networks?

    Introduction:

To compare the performance of blockchains, the number of unique wallets that sent a transaction on each blockchain is one of the famous tools.

In this dashboard, the daily number of unique wallets since start of February for each blockchain (Algorand, Solana, Terra and Ethereum) are estimated.

To estimate the unique wallets, transaction tables are used for Algorand, Solana and Ethereum. For Terra unique users, Terra.msgs is used by counting the number of senders.

These 4 figures demonstrate the daily unique wallets that sent at least one transaction on Algorand, Terra, Solana and Ethereum blockchains, respectively. As shown in the first figure, the number of unique walletson Algorand blockchain had experienced big numbers on specific dates. One of these dates or periods was between Feb 16 to 23. This event was at the same time of this announcement.

Other blockchains kept their consistent movement but Terra blockchains unique wallets are risen since the start of February compared to the other blockchains.

The total unique wallets that sent at least one transaction on each blockchain from the start of February is shown in this figure. As shown in this figure, the Ethereum blockchain had used by over 11 million unique wallets and Algorand was on the third rank next to the Solana with near 3.2 million unique wallets that sent at least one transaction.
