Introduction:

The users are added Liquidity to the pools of Thorchain blockchain. Also, they remove liquidity after a specific time period.

In this dashboard, the average duration of LP providing for each pool of Thorchain blockchain is estimated. The average time between adding and removing liquidity are considered on this estimation.

Also, the amount of LP affects the average duration of LP providing by users of each pool.

The second figure contains the LP duration of each liquidity pools based on the USD amount of LP. Three cases are defined and shown in this figure.

Based on this figure, the average duration of each pool is changed by the USD amount of LP. For example BTC pool, in this pool the average LP duration is at the highest level for medium LP (500-5000 USD). Also, the LP duration of liquidity over 5000 USD is larger than other LP amount.

For this investigation, first I selected the top 15 pools by amount of TVL to made an accurate analyze for average LP duration.

Based on the definition on Introduction part, the average time of LP providing by users to each liquidity pools is estimated and shown in this bar chart.

In this chart, the USD amount of LP did not considered. The duration of LP providing is shown by number of days. The BNB-ETH pool has the highest average LP providing duration among liquidity pools of Thorchain blockchain.
