Bridge Users (Hop Protocol)

Q1. How many unique users have bridged to L2s using Hop? What days in the past 6 months have seen the most volume bridged, and were there any specific events that may have driven these spikes? Which assets have been bridged the most? Show an analysis of the asset distribution of bridging through Hop.

    • The graph above shows the USD volume of assets that have been bridged on Hop Protocol.
    • The asset with the largest bridge volume is ETH, with a total of 466.87 million USD bridged over the past 6 months.
    • USDC came in second with 184.56 million USD bridged over the past 6 months.
    • The remaining assets each have less than 30 million USD bridged.
    • The graph above shows the bridge USD volume on Hop Protocol over the past 6 months by day.
    • As can be seen, April 30th saw the most volume on Hop Protocol over the past 6 months with nearly 9 million USD in volume bridged.
    • June 1st had the second most bridge USD volume in a single day with 8.56 million USD.
    • On the other hand, May 28th had the lowest bridge volume with only 851.24k, which is tenfold lesser than the bridge volume on April 30th and June 1st.

    Introduction

In this dashboard, we will look into the total number of users that have bridged to L2s using Hop Protocol, as well as the bridge USD volume on Hop Protocol over the past 6 months by day. Finally, we will examine the USD volume of each assets that have been bridged and asset distribution of bridging through Hop by USD volume.

    • The figure above shows the total number of users that have bridged to L2s using Hop.
    • The total number of users that have bridged to L2s using Hop is 59.2k.
    • The graph above shows the asset distribution of bridging through Hop by USD volume.
    • As can be seen, ETH accounts of 65.4% or more than half of the total bridge volume on Hop Protocol.
    • USDC accounts for 25.8% of the total volume, which is significantly lesser than the volume of USDC.
    • It is reasonable to say that majority of the users are bridging ETH & USDC using Hop Protocol.

    Conclusion

    1. The total number of users that have bridged to L2s using Hop is 59.2k.
    2. April 30th saw the most volume on Hop Protocol over the past 6 months with nearly 9 million USD in volume bridged.
    3. ETH and USDC have the largest bridge volume among all assets that have been bridged over the past 6 months. It is reasonable to say that majority of the users are bridging ETH & USDC using Hop Protocol.
