    What is Avalanche

Developers Ava Labs claim that Avalanche is the first smart contract network that standardly validates transactions in less than a second. Avalanche launched its main network in September 2020. The main token of this platform, AVAX, performs various tasks in Avalanche and also acts as a reward and payment system for users.

Avalanche supports the entire Ethereum development toolkit and enables millions of independent validators to participate as block producers. This test network has more than 1000 full nodes and block producers and has broken the world record in this case.

The Avalanche platform is capable of processing more transactions than most existing blockchain networks (4,500 transactions per second), and unlike many other blockchains, this network does not become insecure after gaining 51% of network power.
