UNI, the governance token that allows users to vote on key protocol changes, is the fourth largest cryptocurrency by market cap on Coinbase as of April 2021 — with a total value of more than $18 billion.

Uniswap was one of the first decentralized finance (or DeFi) applications to gain significant traction on Ethereum — launching in November 2018. Since then, numerous other decentralized exchanges have launched (including Curve, SushiSwap, and Balancer), but Uniswap is currently the most popular by a significant margin. As of April 2021, Uniswap had processed over $10 billion in weekly trading volume.

Uniswap has introduced an NFT aggregator platform promising users the opportunity to trade NFTs across major marketplaces and find more listings and better prices. As an aggregator, Uniswap surfaces listings from all major NFT marketplaces, including: OpenSea. X2Y2.

Method⚡

In this dashboard, i analyzed Uniswap NFT aggregator that launched recently on November 29th and see what is going on with this NFT aggregator on Ethereum chain and then i compared its activity since November 29th with 2 other popular aggregators on ethereum such as Blur and Gem to see who is leading others. At the end i went through Genie Airdrop that happened after Uni aggregator launch and explored its stats until present.

For this matter i used ==Ethereum.core== database provided by Flipsidecrypto and used ==“ethereum.core.fact_transactions”== , ==“ethereum.core.ez_nft_transfers”== , ==“ethereum.core.ez_token_transfers”== ,

==“ethereum.core.ez_nft_sales”== and ==“ethereum.core.fact_event_logs”== tables to extract the data and do my analysis.

I filtered uniswap aggregator with its contract address: ==“0xef1c6e67703c7bd7107eed8303fbe6ec2554bf6b”==

Findings👀

• In above, i showed overall and over time Uniswap NFT aggregator activity divided by several marketplaces on ethereum chain since November 29th, Uniswap NFT aggregator launch day.
• We can see OpenSea is accounting most of NFT sales and buyers & sellers among other marketplaces but in USD volume case, Looksrare has recorded some pretty big volume on multiple days and they were even more than OpenSea on that days for example Dec 6th and 12th.
• In general, OpenSea is leading in all terms with a huge difference than other marketplaces, but in USD volume, Looksrare has recorded close USD volume to OpenSea in past 3 weeks.
• In overall, over 8.8K buyers and sellers has recorded over 11.7K NFT sales with a total volume of 2.5M dollars in total over time since November 29th on Uniswap NFT aggregator.
• Number of sellers were 3 times more than buyers.
• As expected, OpenSea is recording more NFT activity on Uniswap aggregator because it is more popular and older than other ethereum marketplaces.

• In this section, i tried to show the same stats as the previous section but this time for NFT collections.
• If we ignore unknown collections, we can see parallel collection is in the lead in terms of NFT sales with 307 sales and mutantapeyachtclub is in the lead in terms of Sales USD volume with over 266M in past 3 weeks followed by clone x in the second place with 220M USD volume over time.

3. Comparison of Aggregators

Findings👀

• In this section, i compared Uniswap NFT aggregator to 2 other aggregators like Blur and Gem since November 29th, after Uniswap aggregator’s launch.
• Blur is absolutely outperformed the other 2 in past 3 weeks in terms of NFT sales and gas fees in USD with almost 350K sales and over 1.2M USD gas fees over time followed by Gem in the second place with over 50K sales and less than 200K USD gas fees.
• More Sales brings more gas fees. Uniswap in newer than others and users are not really using it and many of them didnt find out that it launched its aggregator yet.
• Although Gem usd gas fees was more than Uniswap in past 3 weeks, but Uniswap daily average gas fee was more than Gem and actually crossed Blur in some days too.
• Maybe users are not using it because its high average gas fees because everyone prefer lower gas fee especially on Ethereum NFTs.

4. Genie Airdrop Stats

Findings👀

• Over half of the total claimed $USDC (1.62M), has claimed on November 30th by over half of the claimers (5.8K).
• Over 7.8K claimers claimed 2.4M Airdropped $USDC since November 23th but the real claim activity started after November 30th.

Findings👀

• Genie airdrop had 3 tiers for claiming the airdrop and out of 15.92K eligible users for airdrop, 15.81K of them were in tier 1 and by far 7.7K of them claimed their airdroped $USDC and 8K of them didnt claim it yet.
• We can see the same story for claimed amount too. Out of 4.87M airdropped $USDC, 4.74M of it was for tier 1 users and 2.32M of it has claimed by tier 1 users so far.

Conclusion💡

• Uniswap NFT Aggregator has recorded over 11.7K sales with a total volume of 2.5M in USD in past 3 weeks after its launch on November 29th and actually did very well in this short amount of time.
• Opensea was the most popular marketplace on Uniswap aggregator in past 3 weeks and recorded much bigger stats than other ethereum marketplaces over time.
• X2Y2 is the second popular marketplace on Uniswap aggregator after Opensea in all terms except USD volume which is Looksrare is in the second place after Opensea and actually it recorded pretty close sales USD volume compared to Opensea in this short period.
• mutantapeyachtclub has recorded a huge volume of 266.3M dollars on uniswap aggregator in past 3 weeks while it is not in the top 10 collections in terms of sales because this collection’s NFTs are so expensive, so in a few sales the volume can reach to very high numbers.
• Blur dominated Uniswap and Gem aggregators in terms of NFT activity such as number of sales and USD gas fees on every days since November 29th.
• Genie airdrop mainly launched on November 30th after Uniswap aggregator’s launch with a total of 4.87M airdropped $USDC for 15.92K eligible users and by far 7.8K out of all eligible users claimed their airdrop with a total amount of 2.42M $USDC.
