Method

I used the osmosis.core.fact_swaps table and grouped by date, pool_ids[0], TO_CURRENCY and FROM_CURRENCY.

Then I joined it with the osmosis.core.dim_labels table based on address and performed my analysis on the data from 2022-5-1.

The next chart shows top ten popular contracts on Osmosis along with the percentage of the number of transactions.

Top ten popular contracts on Osmosis with percentage :

• Osmosis / Cosmos : 142.3k, 19.2%

• Lum / Osmosis : 92k, 12.4%

• Osmosis / Lum : 91.5k, 12.4%

• Cosmos / Osmosis : 86.7k, 11.7%

• Sentinel / Sentinel : 56k, 7.58%

• Sentinel / Osmosis : 55.7k, 7.53%

• Cosmos / Sentinel : 55.5k, 7.51%

• Osmosis / Sentinel : 55.2k, 7.46%

• Osmosis / Luna classic : 53.3k, 7.22%

• Cosmos / Juno : 51.1k, 6.2=92%

The next chart shows cumulative total of contracts daily on Osmosis.

• The Cumulative number is 74.5K

• The highest number of pairs were used on May 30th and May 31st are about 1300.

As you can see in the chart opposite the highest number of used pools happened on May 11th. Luna and UST crashed on May 11th and impacted to all market.

On June 11 and 12, we saw an increase in used pools, which coincided with the crash of Bitcoin.

Conclusion

• The most popular contracts are Osmosis / Cosmos with 142.3k and 19.2%.

• The most popular pools is 1 about 600k and 28.6%.

• The highest number of pairs were used on May 30th and May 31st are about 1300.

• The number of transactions Osmosis and contracts increased on May 11th (Luna Crash) and June 12th (Bitcoin Crash).
