Avalanche Ecosystem Growth
Avalanche's C chain has witnessed a notable surge in activity in recent months, particularly in May 2023, with a significant increase in daily active users and transactions. This dashboard aims to identify the sector and project that has contributed the most to this surge.
To address this inquiry, the dashboard initially analyzes the activities and actors on Avalanche, categorizing them into sectors. It examines how these activities have evolved over time and their distribution among sectors.
Subsequently, it focuses on projects within each sector, highlighting the top project and tracking its evolution over time.
In addition, the dashboard emphasizes the last 30 days, providing a comprehensive overview of projects that have played a significant role in the increased activity within each sector.

For the purpose of analysis, we utilize Flipside's avalanche.core schema. To distinguish between project wallets and sectors, we refer to the dim_labels table.
In the dim_labels table, addresses are categorized based on their sectors using the label_type field, and project addresses are labeled in the project_name field.
In this dashboard, any user who interacts with a project's address is considered an active user of that project. Similarly, transactions involving addresses associated with projects are considered transactions related to those projects.
Moreover, the AVAX value of transactions sent to a project/sector address is considered an inflow of value to the project/sector, while transactions sent from a project/sector address are defined as outflow.
