EVM Meets Cosmos Chains
Introduction
Squid simplifies token swaps between blockchains, enabling users to access applications across different chains with a single click.
Initially, Squid supported bridging from 9 chains, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche, Binance, Fantom, Moonbeam, Celo, and Kava. However, it has recently expanded its capabilities to facilitate token bridging from and into Cosmos chains.
This dashboard offers an overview of the newly added Cosmoshub chains as both the source and destination of bridges.
The primary focus is on the flow from EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) to Cosmos chains. It begins by providing an overall view of EVM to Cosmos bridges on the 'Overall' tab. Next, the dashboard illustrates how Cosmos chains are targeted as bridge destinations through Squid. Following that, it delves into the sources of assets bridging into the Cosmos chains. Finally, the dashboard concludes by presenting the volume and number of bridges, encompassing both sources and targets. Additionally, the 'Bridgers' tab will feature a users leaderboard and showcase the popularity growth of EVM to Cosmos bridges.
