Introduction

Genopets is a move to earn project that gamifies physical, mental, and emotional health with financial and social rewards.

The governance token of Genopets is GENE Token that represents the value of the Genopets game as a whole and is used to craft in-game NFTs.

Recently, Genopets launched staking for the $GENE token.

This dashboard investigates who has staked $GENE and what amount.

Results

The graph below shows the number of unique stakers over time. We can see the second day after the launch of staking the number of unique $GENE stakers sparked. Since then, the number of stakers has declined.

The same trend can be seen in the amount of staked $GENE. In May 19th about 300K $GENE has been staked.

In total 5160 wallets has staked in total 536K $GENE by the time of writing (2022-05-31).

Out of 5160 stakers 434 wallets has purchased genopets from secondary market as data shows.

The graph below shows the amount and number of Genopets purchasers over time.

We can see that from the end of February to early April the amount and number of Genopets purchase was at a high level. However since the beginning of April both the number and amount of Genopets sales dramatically has decreased.

Conclusion

• The data shows that about 5100 wallets have staked their GENE.

• The staking action peaked in the second day after releasing the staking system.

• The daily amount and number of staking $GENE has a downward trend.

• The blossoming period of Genopets sales was in April.
