NEAR Performance
Overview
Near is a L1 blockchain aiming at providing the ideal environment for dAPPs by overcoming some of the limitations of competing systems—such as low throughput, low speeds, and poor cross-compatibility.
This dashboard provides an overview of the performance of NEAR network.
The following factors will be presented:
- Success rate
- TPS
- Transaction fee
- Transaction per block
- Time between blocks
Success Rate
Success rate is defined as the proportion of succeeded transactions to the total number of transactions.
The graph next to this box shows the average success rate in the past 7/30 days comparing to five other L1 blockchains: Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, Avalanche and Solana.
The below graph also shows how the daily average success rate of NEAR and other L1 blockchain evolved over time.
Time between blocks
Time between blocks or block time is defined as the time it takes to ‘mine’ a block. In bitcoin it is about 10 minutes and in Ethereum this factor is still high. However, in alternative blockchain this factor is significantly low in comparison with Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Graphs in this section show the average block time in the past 7/30 days and the evolution of it for NEAR and L1 blockchains over time.
