Introduction

Tokemak is a protocol that enables sustainable DeFi liquidity.

Utilizing Tokemak, to double yielding, users can provide liquidity in a number of pools with diverse pairs of tokens including TCR.

This dashboard investigates how this opportunity has been adopted by TCR users and what the popularity of Tokemak among tracer users is.

Definitions

• Tracer user can be defined as wallet addresses that had more than zero TCR balance at least one day in the past. Also we can define tracer user based on staking in Tracer. Therefore, by this definition, TCR users will be wallet addresses who has received TCR as reward from TracerDAO. In this dashboard, by TCR users we mean wallet addresses that have transacted with TCR token at least one time in the past.

• Popularity is defined as the percentage of Tracer users who has interacted with Tokemak to all Tracer users.

Results

TCR is the governance token of Tracer protocol. Using TCR, TCR holders are able to take part in the governance of Tracer by voting through gauges. Tracer users are rewarded by TCR.

In total, so far, 3119 unique addresses has at least one transactions with TCR defining them as TCR users.

The donut chart below shows the proportion of TCR users to those who have interacted with Tokemak as well.

We can see that the popularity of Tokemak among TCR users is around 22%.

From the below chart we can see how the daily number of unique TCR users, as well as TCR users who used Tokemak as well, has been changed over time.

The graph shows the beginning of using Tokemak by TCR users on October 22 when Tokemak officially starts providing TCR pool (https://tracer.finance/radar/tokemak-reactor/).

Since then, the popularity of Tracer has not grown.

Since the platform users are dynamic, it is wise to consider the launching time of TCR pool in Tokemak.

To do so, active user is defined as users with at least one transactions since 22nd October 2021.

The donut chart below shows the popularity by this adjustment.

The data shows that among 1815 tracer users that have been active since October 22nd, 658 users (about 38%) has been also involved in Tokemak.

Conclusion

The data shows that among 3119 tracer users, 658 users (about 22%) users have been involved in Tokemak as well.

However, when we consider only the group of active users, we can see larger popularity among active users.
