1- Description

On 2 May 2022, FIFA has teamed up with blockchain technology company Algorand to agree a sponsorship and technical partnership deal. The agreement means Algorand will become the official blockchain platform of FIFA and provide the official blockchain-supported wallet solution. As per the sponsorship agreement, Algorand will be a FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Regional Supporter in North America and Europe, and a FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023™ Official Sponsor. Blockchains allow non-editable data to be permanently recorded and distributed on digital networks, while also facilitating innovations and ensuring safe, untampered exchange of value and assets such as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and through blockchain-enabled wallets holding digital assets. As part of the agreement, Algorand will also assist FIFA in further developing its digital assets strategy, while FIFA will provide sponsorship assets including advertising, media exposure and promotional opportunities. 2- Part One ---> New wallets being created after 2 May 2022

To do this, we first filter the list of active account in the algorand.account table based on [account_closed = 0 and closed_at is null] ---> (all_active_wallet), then in the algorand.block table get the blocks created from 2022-05-02 to 2022-05-07 which are still active ([block_id in (select block_id from all_active_wallet)]) and get a number of block daily and compare them.

According to the results, it can be seen that from May 2, 2022 to May 7, 2022, the number of wallets (accounts) created increased on a daily basis and had an upward trend.

3- Part two ---> ALGOs being transferred on a daily basis after 2 May 2022

To do this, We reviewed the asset transfer and algorand.transactions tables for 2 May 2022 to 7 May 2022 for algo assets, but did not find any records for algo where ---> [tx_type_name = 'asset transfer']. We also checked for all the records in the all time and did not find any record with this condition. So we did not apply any filters to the records for [tx_type_name]. Finally, we obtained the total number of asset transfers for algo in this period on a daily basis on the two tables of transfers and transactions. The results of both tables were the same, so we put the results of the transfer table

According to the results, it can be seen that from May 2, 2022 to May 7, 2022, the number of asset transfer(for algo) increased on a daily basis and had an upward trend.

4- Part three ---> Number of transactions after 2 May 2022

To do this, We reviewed algorand.transactions tables for 2 May 2022 to 7 May 2022 and we get all transactions on a daily basis for this time

According to the results, it can be seen that from May 2, 2022 to May 7, 2022, the number of transactions increased on a daily basis and had an upward trend.

5- Part four ---> Sending ALGOs from centralized exchanges to onchain wallets

To do this, We reviewed algorand.labels tables for find the ces and dex address by ---> [label_type = 'dex'] and [label_type = 'cex'], After finding these addresses, In the algorand.transfers table, we get a list of transactions whose asset_sender address is related to cex ([asset_sender in (select address from centralized_exchanges_address)]) and its receiver address is related to dex ([receiver in (select address from dentralized_exchanges_address)]) and [asset_id = 0] (ALGO). Then we filter based on the time period 2 May 2022 to 7 May 2022 and calculate the total number of these transactions on a daily basis.

6- Part Five ---> Number of swaps after 2 May 2022

To do this, We reviewed algorand.swaps tables for 2 May 2022 to 7 May 2022 and we get all swaps on a daily basis for this time

Based on these results, it can be seen that between May 2 and May 3, the number of swaps has increased significantly, and this is due to the fact that due to the cooperation between Algorand and FIFA the volume of swaps to algo has increased significantly.
