Swapping for YLDLY on DEXs

Q77.Show us the total volume inflow and outflow of Yieldly(YLDY: Asset ID: 226701642) by day in 2022 then break it out by DEX as well. Is swapping for YLDY more popular on some DEXs than others? Additionally what assets are users swapping for YLDLY? Are there any standout days of swap volume for Yieldly? If so, write about what may have caused that spike. Note any other interesting findings related to YLDY swaps! Description of work: to calculate total volume inflow and outflow of Yieldly, we use algorand.swaps table and SWAP_TO_ASSET_ID and SWAP_FROM_ASSET_ID column to identify inflow and outflow. to calculate assets that users swapping for YLDLY, we extract records that have SWAP_TO_ASSET_ID = 226701642 to identify users swapping for YLDLY, then we join extracted records on algorand.asset table to find asset names that swapping for YLDLY.

Question 1: Show the total volume inflow and outflow of Yieldly by day in 2022

to answer this question we need algorand.swaps table. to calculate the inflow volume of Yieldly, we must obtain records that have SWAP_TO_ASSET_ID = 226701642 and BLOCK_TIMESTAMP >= 2022-01-01, then group records by date and calculate the sum of SWAP_TO_AMOUNT for records. to calculate the outflow volume of Yieldly we act like calculating the inflow volume, with this difference we obtain records that have SWAP_FROM_ASSET_ID = 226701642. finally, we join inflow volume and outflow volume based on the day and then order records by day. results and charts are shown below.

Question 2: show us the total volume inflow and outflow of Yieldly by day in 2022 by DEX as well.

we calculate the inflow volume of Yieldly and outflow volume of Yieldly like the previous question, plus we filter records based on DEX name and group them by date and dex name. then we perform a full join on inflow volume and outflow volume based on the day and dex name then order records by day. The reason for using full join is that some days we may have inflow and there is no outflow on DEXs and vice versa. results and charts are shown below per each DEX.

Looking at the charts above, we find that the inflow and outflow volume of YLDLY in the tinyman DEX is much larger than other DEXs. (About 100 times more than pactfi and 20 times more than algofi)

Question 4: what assets are users swapping for YLDLY

to answer this question, first, we need to obtain records with SWAP_TO_ASSET_ID = 226701642 (swapping for YLDLY), then we group them by SWAP_FROM_ASSET_ID and calculate the sum of SWAP_TO_AMOUNT for records. to find names of assets we must join selected records on algorand.asset table on SWAP_FROM_ASSET_ID column. results and charts are shown below.

The chart clearly shows that a very large percentage of users use ALGO to swap for YLDLY.

According to the charts in question 2, it can be seen that the volume of swaps on different exchanges increases sharply on some days, which is a temporary increase and returns to the previous state immediately the next day. sharp moves could be related to price manipulation by whales. Also, as mentioned, the volume of swaps in tinyman is much larger than in other DEXs.
