In this post I show amounts of RUNE transferred between accounts on Thorchain.

Methodology

> All transfers are registered in Flipside's 'thorchain.transfers' table. Truncate the 'block_timestamp' by day (or by week) and apply the 'sum' function to the field 'rune_amount'.

Daily RUNE transfers were at their highest in late March and early April 2022. These transfers include all RUNE transferred between any two accounts on Thorchain. Amounts are shown in RUNE.

Trends are shown more clearly using a bar chart in weekly increments.

Takeaways

In the last twelve weeks, RUNE transfers rose consistently until the end of March.

Since then, RUNE transfers have been trending down.
