Velodrome is a decentralized exchange deployed on the Optimism blockchain, is giving Uniswap a run for its money.

uniswap:

Uniswap is currently the leading decentralized exchange (DEX) by trading volume. It was the first DEX on the Ethereum network, allowing you to swap any ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain.

Now, there are multiple versions of Uniswap. Given the decentralized nature of the protocol, it is not possible to just do away with other versions after an upgrade, so there are currently three versions, with V3 being the latest.

The graph beside shows the number of transactions on the velodrome and uniswap dexes.

As we can see, this information is entered on a daily basis. The information was recorded from the date June 15th to Aug2nd , and it shows that from June 15th to July 12, the number of transactions has moved in a certain trend with some changes, but since July 13, the number of transactions has taken an increasing trend, the highest transactions occurred on July 29, and since that date, the number of transactions has decreased.

The chart’s data shows that since July 12, some factors were effective in increasing the transactions of these two dexes

In this graph, the number of users who have transacted on velodrome and uniswap dexes is shown. As we can see, the data of the graph shows that since June 15 (473 uniswap users & 85velodrome users), the number of users has almost doubled, and this trend continues until June 27.

from this date it has a decreasing trend and the number of users decreases slightly, but again on July 13, the number of users almost doubles, and this trend continues with a slight increase and decrease, and on July 29, the number of users reaches the highest level (4876 on uniswap & 1289 on velodrome) in the two mentioned dexes.
