Introduction and methods

Game Cosmic Champs is an Algorand based NFT collection based on a universe of a real-time battle arenas that have launched their project token $COSG. The token is an utility token that can be traded on its main platform or basically spend to enter tournaments. As well, the platform has launched a staking option to earn more tokens.

In this platform we are gonna take a look at the daily swap to and swap from volume for each asset swapped by $COSG. On the other hand, we will take a look at the number of daily staking actions that are ocurring considering $COSG.

Results

In terms of total daily swap volume to and from $COSG, we can see how during the first days more swaps to were coming, however, the trends diverged over time and now more swaps from are coming. As well, in term of swaps, the dynamics has been negative after the first days of launch were there was an uptrend.

In terms of different assets, we can see as well how only 2 assets are used to swap to and from $COSG: Algostake and Yieldly. However, Algostake was only used one day, the, we can say that $COSG is only traded from and to Yieldly.

Regarding staking actions, the amount of actions started at a high lebel but the dynamic has been negative since the beginning till now passing from around 800 staking actions to lower than 400.

Finally, in terms of volume, a big amount was registered in the first day(more than 8M), however, it has dropped a lot over time and now the daily volume is lower than 100k. The cumulative volume is around 11M.

In this final chart, we can see the correlation between staking actions and the volume staked in a daily basis. It can be seen how there is a correlation between both metrics, saying that when there are more staking actions, more volume is entering on staking.
