DEX pools on Loop

Visualize decentralized exchange (DEX) pools on LOOP (ex aUST/UST) vs Average # of liquidity positions on Loop DEX. Display the mean, median, and mode….3 separate graphs. The goal of this graph is to tell us: For wallets that have UST/aUST liquidity positions, how many other positions, on average, do these wallets also have on the DEX? If we can see mean, median, and mode, we can determine data skew from outliers

To do that, we will need to compute the wallets who have some liquidity on UST/aUST pool and then, see if they are also providing liquidity to any of the other Loop DEX pools. Finally, we will calculate the three metrics: mean, median and mode.

As we can see, there are some differences between the three charts implemented. I decided to plot Area charts because of I think its the best way to see whats going on and what are users doing. However, we can extract some basic conclusions from them that are common in all of three charts:

    • The pool that have more other positions is: Loop-whmim, which have more than seven alternative positions in the three cases, reaching 11 as a mean other positions.
    • The other pools seems to have similar mode values on the rest of the pools in terms of means and medians between 2 and 5 other open positions.
    • In mode chart, we can look that there are more differences between the rest of the pools. Some of them show 1 other position and the others 4 other positions.

Finally, I put you the final data sheet where you can explore the numeric results obtained.

To sum up, we can see how in the major of the pools on Loop DEX, the liquidity providers choose to enter to more than one pool rather than stay in the same. In the case of the Loo-whmim it seems like the users are not confident at all because of choose to enter a lot of different other pools lol. However, there are other pools that users stay safe and some of them have no need to enter other pools like ANC-UST, aUST-UST or LOOP-UST where in the three charts the number of other positions is 1 or close to 1.
