FLOW NFT Floor Tracker

    Introduction

NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are digital assets certified through blockchain technology. The cryptography of these tokens is what makes these assets unique: no two are the same, and they cannot be exchanged with each other. This makes it possible to prove that the person who bought them is their sole owner. They can be practically anything that can be digitized: from works of art, to memes, tweets, photographs...

Flow blockchain has been one of the top trending platforms with a huge activity growth during 2022, and the main reason was because of its support to NFTs and its collaboration with high and popular entities like NBA or NFL.

    Methods

In this analysis, we are gonna sweep some floor prices for five top collections currently availabl on the Flow blockchain..

To do so, I have built this dashboard that not only shows some of the basic NFT activity such as buyers and sellers, volume, etc. but also tracks the floor by contract for various NFT projects in the FLOW ecosystem. In concrete the following ones:

    • NFL All Day
    • NBA Top Shot
    • RaceDay

Looking at the floor daily price, we can see how the major of the collections have had similar floor prices instead of RaceDay, in this case, we can see how the floor price has been going up and down day by day reaching a lowest floor price lower than 1 and a higher floor price at 80 USD. It is due because of the low amount of sales.

On the other hand, if we take into account the floor price 7-day moving average (MA), we can see that there is an uptrend for all of the collections. But, while for UFC and NBA Top Shot collections seems that the Floor price threshold is consolidated at around 1 USD, for the rest of the collections the floor price has been increasing over time, being the minimum price paid per NFT higher.

Collection specific NFT activity by marketplace

In these final charts, we can see the average NFT price per each marketplace in order to track if in some of them the NFTs are being sold in a higher range. As well, we can see the average price 7-day MA.

Another important charts to evaluate are the floor price evolution over time on each marketplace for the collection as well as the floor price 7-day MA.
