OHM Treasury

    Track the daily balance of the Olympus DAO treasury. Show the balance over time of the main underlying assets of the treasury.

    Introduction and methods

    Olympus is building OHM, a community-owned, decentralized and censorship-resistant reserve currency that is deeply liquid, asset-backed, and used widely. Olympus DAO's efforts in Treasury management, development of on-chain governance structures and prudent use of Olympus' liquidity and Treasury assets. The treasury contract is a simple vault implementation holding all the funds collected by the protocol. If for instance a user purchases a DAI bond, the bonded DAI is fully taken in by the treasury in return of the market equivalent of OHM bonded for. New OHM will be minted based on the RFV of the treasury assets.

    Currently, the contract treasury its in its own version 3, and the contract address is: 0x9A315BdF513367C0377FB36545857d12e85813Ef

    To be able to implement and track the OHM treasury balance we need to center our analysis on the aforementioned contract address. By using Ethereum erc20_balances table, we can analyze the corresponding balance of the OHM treasury. The dashboard shows the total USD balance of all treasury assets during the past 90 days, as well as the evolution per each sustained asset.

    In the first chart, we can see the total amount of USD holdings in OHM treasury wallet. It can be seen how during February and March months, the amount in USD increased from around 120M USD to 230M. However, since finals March, the balance started to decrease and now is around 170M USD.

    The second chart shows the same but splitted by assets, where we can see how the major of the balance is holded in DAI, WETH and FRAX. Then, we can say that the major balance of OHM treasury is in stablecoins.

    Conclusion

    As a conclusion, we can say that the treasury balance of OHM has increased during the past 90 days. We have also observed that the major holdings of the wallet is in stablecoins.
