Introduction

Stablecoins are one of the most common type of currencies used in the cryptoworld due to it representa the common fiat in a digital manner. In this dashboard, we are gonna see which are the moat popular stablecoins used to swap on Algorand network.

Methodology

The analysis was divided in two main parts. The first one about the number of swaps per stablecoin and the second one about the volume moved. The final charts shows the combination of both metrics in order to see the most common stablecoins in all terms.

In this first charts, we can see how the number of swaps on Algorand remained constant over time. The most popular staecoin is USDC having more than 66% of the total swaps.

In terms of volume swapped, it seems like the amount of volume decreased during the middle of the evaluated period. The rest of the days are similar to the previous prt.

However, in this case, the dominance of USDC is higher, around 85%.

In this final chart, we van finally see the dominance of USDC among the stablecoins in all terms, swaps and volume of swaps.

Conclusions

In this dashboard we have analyzed the popularity of stablecoins on Algorand swaps, determining that the most popular one is USDC in both terms, number and volume Of swaps.
