Tinyman 1.1 Launch Pools

Tinyman 1.1 has relaunched. Let's check out what's going on in the pools for Algorand Tinyman. How many pools have been created?(Tip: Look for TX_GROUP_IDs that contain both an application call to APP_ID 552635992 and an asset configuration transaction. What are the most popular pairs to provide liquidity to by number of wallets? Now, let's build a table to show current total liquidity provided to each pool. Part 1: How many pools have been created since Tinyman 1.1 relaunch?

For the first task, we will calculate how many different pools have been created so far since the Tinyman relaunch.

As we can see, a total of 1381 have been created so far. In the table above, you can see the full list of different pools created on Tinyman during this period of time.

Now, from the list obtained in the first part of the analysis, we will investigate about the most popular pools in which most number of users have provided liquidity at least one time since their launch.

Note: I have taken into account those wallets who provide liquidity at least one time to the pool to count as a valid number of wallet

The table below shows the whole list of pools with their respective number of wallets that participated on the pool by providing liquidity at least one time. Taking a look at the donut chart, we can see how the top 10 pools have 43% of the total active wallets in all the pools. The top 3 pools that have the most number of wallets are:

    • AKTA-ALGO
    • YLDY-ALGO
    • USDC-ALGO

Now, we will go further with the top 10 list of the pools to answer properly the question about the most popular pairs in terms of number of wallets. To do that, we will see the number of wallets for the top 10 pools in numbers, the distribution of wallets among these 10 wallets, and the volume area of the pools by number of wallets.

As we can see, the top 10 pools are all between some asset and ALGO. We can see as well the three previously highlighted pools, AKTA-ALGO, YLDY-ALGO and USDC-ALGO, which a registered number of wallets of 1764, 1678 and 1388 wallets respetively. In the first chart, we can see as well the numbers for the rest of the pools. Finally, in the area chart, we can see which volume of wallets have been entered in each pool.

Part 3: Let's build a table to show current total liquidity provided to each pool.

To do that, we will compute the total liquidity added and the total liquidity removed since the Tinyman relaunch. The results are presented in the table below where total addings and withdrawals have shown as well.

Note: All the liquidities are calculated in terms of TMPOOL11.

We can see how there is a big different between top 1 pool (XET-YLDY) and the rest of the pools, which gained a total of almost 117M of liquidity so far. Because of it seems a big number of volume and could be wrong, I checked the volume inside this pool on Algoexplorer and it shows that during last days the volume entered have increased a lot. I dont' know why but it is. Another important pool is the SVANSY-CREAM which currently have more than 30M of liquidity provided. If we take a look at the donut distribution chart, we can see how the first pool have more than 43% of total current liquidity provided and the second one a 12% of it,

Among the whole list of pools that currently have some liquidity provided, the top 10 list are shown in the table below. To provide more details about these pools, I have plotted as well their current liquidity provided, the volume added and removed so far, as well as the are distribution of each pool in terms of current liquidity.

First of all, I want to highlight that we can see in the list another pool that integrates XET. In this case the XET-ALGO pool. It is a good signal because of it could say that XET are becoming common inside Algorand network. In the bar plot, we can see the difference between top 1 pool and the rest of the top 10 pools. We can see as well that the liquity provided on the rest of the pools looks similar between 6.5 and 14M of liquidity provided. Another important aspect to take into account is that more thn 50% of the current liquidity provided on these 10 pools, have been added to the top 1.

Taking a look at the liquidity provided vs removed chart, we can also see that the major of these pools have a big amount of volume provided but little amounts of liquidity withdrawn. It is logic because for this reason, these are the top 10 pools in terms of current liquidity. However, there are two pools that have received big numbers in both scenarios. These pools are the Nard-SVANSY and curiously, the XET-YLDY. It could be possible as well because of is the pool that moved the highest number of volume in liquidity,

Finally, in the area chart, we can see again the big differents between XET-YLDY pool and the rest of the pools.

To sum up, we have seen a big DEX inside Algorand network, where several pools have, not only a big number of active wallets, but also a good amount of current liqudity provided. We have seen as well that there are an interesting asset called XET that are appearing in the top 10 pools that could be the next important asset inside Algorand network. We will need to do more exploration about it.
