In this dashboard I wanna answer this question : Q7. How many unique wallets are active on Osmosis per day? How has this changed over time? What has been the largest event that has brought the most wallet activity to Osmosis? So lets get into it.
We will determine the "Active Wallets" with the wallets that has at least one transaction, and use "Distinct" command to filter the "Unique" part. So I will use distinct TX_FROM from transaction table. we will visualize the daily timeframe for Unique Active Wallets in 2022 to answer the first part of question, then check the trend with weekly timeframe to get a better view of what happened, then search google for any news about the possible spikes on the chart.
For answering the fist part of question I visualize the 2022 Unique Active Wallets per day and as you can see its like a triangle with the maximum unique users in Mar 20-29. But actually the highest amount in Unique Active Wallets in 2022 was 61.185K that happened in Apr 23. The second highest amount was 61.177K that happened in Mar 29.
By looking at this graph we can tell that 2022 was the year of dreams for Osmosis, before that we didn't have that much users gain in week but with the starting of 2022 things changed and we can see massive uptrend till Mar that brings the amount of Unique Active Wallets from maximum 36K at 2021 to 140K in Mar 2022. That's almost 4x of the best of 2021 can offers.
But after Mar with the beginning of Apr we can see that the amount of Unique Active Wallets dropping really fast so far but still near 2times more than the highest amount of 2021.
For better view of what happened so far, I used the weekly timeframe that contains every week that our velocity data offers.
For the third part of this question I found this article in https://thedefiant.io/osmosis-proof-of-stake-cosmos that I think it has a little part on the growth of Unique Active Wallets.
The price of OSMOSIS token in other hand can make a different in this case, OSMOSIS had a good time in start of Mar but then the price started to fall, That's why the amount of Unique Active Wallets drops for now.
